Long Fellows

I have had the Long Fellows set for a while and have to admit it wasn't one of my favourites...which is why I dragged it out and had a go at making a few examples..it's starting to grow on me I think!
Here is the cat
The elephant
The dog

The crocodile ( I saw the idea of stamping the croc like that somewhere  in blogland but I can't remember where...sorry!

The turtle

and last but not least the whale

None of them are rocket science but at least I have used all of them now!

Easter Bunny Treat Card

This is a card we will be making in next weeks class...I think he is soooo cute! I followed a tutorial by Dawn Griffith to create the treat cup slider card and the bunny's head is a Jackie Topa design..You pull the bunnys arm (the one with the carrot) and the jelly beans are released through the hole in the back of the card.. .aww look at his eyes...he doesn't want anyone to steal his jelly beans!

My stamping group had a charity card making day last Saturday and although we only had four ladies we managed to make 200 cards to donate for the foster children. I would like to thank Christine W who helped me prepare all the kits the week before and brought along sausages for a sausage sizzle on the day...thanks Christine I couldn't have done it without you...also thanks so much to Brooke, Katrina (who travelled all the way from NSW to help), my little mate Emily and my daughter Ebony who popped in towards the end to lend a hand..THANKYOU SO SO MUCH!
I would also like to thank all the generous ladies who come to my classes each week...in just under two weeks we have collected four boxes of beautiful supplies for the Angels for the Forgotten...beautiful baby clothes, colouring books, crayons, toiletries...the list goes on...I don't want to take a photo just yet, I will wait till the end of the month to show you all the lovely things...i must also take a picture of all the lovely cards we made..note to self...charge the camera battery
