Friends 24-7 Pyramid Card

I made this for a challenge over at Late Night Stampers...I was inspired by the blues and greens in the inspiration piece. I googled 'Pyramid Card" to see how these were made...easy peasy! The stamp set I used was Friends 24-7 and the card stock is Certainly Celery
*I have had people ask how to make these so here is a link to a tutorial..its one of many http://thecraftypad.blogspot.com/2011/07/tutorial-how-to-make-teepee-card.html

Nature Walk

I love the Nature walk set but struggled to make something decent with it..I do however like this one. I embossed the card front with the tulip embossing folder and sponged it with Crumb Cake ink. The bird was stamped with staz on and sponged with Early Expresso and Kraft ink before I cut it out..bit of lace and a few leaves, the fleur di lis from Friends 24-7 and boom! it's done

Clean and Simple

I love thee colours together...Rose Red, Old Olive, Basic Grey and Whisper White...the stamps I used for this are the bird from Always, the Fleur de Lis from Friends 24-7 and the sentiment and frame from Just Believe. I embossed just the bottom of the Whisper white and added a scrap of retired Haiku dsp

Pear Pizazz card

I think just about everyone has done a version of this card which is in the current IB&C. I have used Pear Pizazz cardstock and Ribbon and Greehouse Gala DSP. Butterfllies are Beautiful Wings Embossilits and the flourish is from Friends 24-7

Friends 24-7

I love this set but have to admit I struggle to come up with ideas when using it.This is based on a card I saw in a paper crafting magazine but I am unsure of the creators name..  I used Baja Breeze, Whisper White and Basic Black.

I should have taken this picture from a better angle, when you look straight on you can't see the bird under the one which is dimensioned. I used the sanded background stamp and the flowers were stamped on scrap and cut out..you can't tell from the photo but the flowers are covered in Dazzling Diamonds

This is using the flower stamp from the set, water coloured in Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive

This last one is a ring in using the Balloon stamp from Crazy for Cupcakes...which would have to be one of my most used stamps!...a quick one for when you are in a rush, I saw this in blogland somewhere, I think it may have been by Andrea Walford
Off to my stamping room, I have a class tonight and I need to clean up my "creative mess" before everyone arrives. Catch ya next time
