Takeaway Tub and Coffee Bag

Things are so expensive these days, it's nice to be able to give a little gift which doesn't cost the earth! This is a coffee bag (you cant tell from the photo but its like a sac type bag). I have rolled it Soft Suede with the Very Vintage wheel and stamped the flowers and butterfly in Rich Razzleberry...a nice gift bag for home made biscuits etc
And this is a humble take away salad tub...much prefer it filled with chocolates!! I have made the flowers with the scallop cirlce punch and used heaps of Sizzlet Little Leaves

This is the top view...I added a punched butterfly and some utterly gorgeous Melon Mambo polka dot ribbon.
See you next time!

Vintage Card

I love the cherry blossom stamp in the Embrace life set!!For this card I stamped the soft suede background with  a stamp from Vintage vogue. The top note was cut from Water colour paper which I coloured with Pink Pirouette and Regal rose...I rolled the vintage wheel over the XL bird....I think I will redo him, the ink is too dark ...his eyeball isnt showing up either poor thing...will fix it in the morning!

Lots of Bots

I rarely do male cards...I have all girls and only grand daughters so I don't get much call for them but my customers do lol. I relented this week and bought Lots of Bots...such a cute set
This little bloke looks awesome in his party gear..I added some balloons from Crazy for Cupcakes. I watercoloured the robot with Basic Grey and Bashful Blue and added a bit of Dazzling Diamonds.

For this one I paper pieced the chef from Voila...he has had a bit too much cake I suspect!
This one isnt for the boys but I forgot to post it previously...a very simple card using Soft Suede and the single rose from the Embrace Life set...That was my effort for the week..happy Stamping Ladies...til next time

Share a Cup and other Bits and Bobs

What a busy week this has been!! I have done classes on Monday night, Wednesday, Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night and finished the week with a workshop today....I am buggared!
So here are a few of the things I made this week starting with a penny spinner card we made with the grasshopper from the Cute as a Bug set...we had made something similar in the kids class and the adults liked it so I did this version with them..you just can't help but sit there for ages tipping it from side to side to see it roll around ...or is that just me??

I was busting to use this  little cup from the new Mini...Share a Cup is only $11.95 and such a sweet little stamp...The label is one of the sizzlets from the 4 pack of dies..love love love, I have a sore arm from cranking out dozens of these little babies!

Hmm...also had to treat myself to the new very vintage jumbo wheel...hard to stuff this one up as the design is so abstract it forgives a million sins....so yes...made for me....and there is that awesome little All a Flutter butterfly again...stamped on vellum cardstock

Just wanted to zoom in and show you how pretty those sizzlet labels are...unfortunately it also shows up my naff cutting of the butterfly...reading glasses next time!

and just for fun a clip thingo for a photo holder..I grabbed the first photo I laid hands on in my photo box...My grand daughter Emily when she was six months old.....awwww...she is nearly seven now with blonde curly hair half way down her back!

Finally...because I have been neglecting all the stamp sets that have worked their way down to the bottom of the pile I dragged out Crazy For Cupcakes and used the in your face colour combo of Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo..I am not really a fan of bright colours normally but these a happy colours...(scuse the stand in clip...my order hasn't arrived)
And now I think I have eaned a nice hot cup of coffee and something sweet....but before I go I would just like to thank all the lovely ladies who regularly attend my classes....they dont care if I wear my PJ's or sing badly...they just keep on coming back....see you next week girls!

Kids Class and More Offerings

Busy, Busy, Busy day!!! I had a kids class in the morning and an adult class tonight..I am pooped!! Happy to say the kids in todays class were awesome..they all remembered to bring their listening ears which meant they all earned a treat bag to take home...The ages ranged from 5 to 11 and everyone of them did a terrific job with their projects...I forgot to take a picture of the gift bag they made but here are some of the others
Found this punch art idea on the net...such a cute little turtle for a bookmark

BAAArbara the sheep on a mini notebook

My personal favourite.."Timmy the Tim Tam Teddy"..and I just remembered I also forgot to take a picture of the cute grasshopper card we made...When you wobbled the card from side to side the grasshopper jumped around!! Thanks kids for being so good...will see you all next school holidays.

And now for some projects we made in tonights adult class (and just between you and me they weren't nearly as well behaved as my juniors!)

I used the new single stamp "All a Flutter" stamped on vellum cardstock. The  base colour is Sahara Sand..why haven't I used this colour before, I love it!

This cup card idea has been around for donkeys years but it's so cool...I gave it a tropical feel
Love Pink Pirouette and Soft Suede together..I also used Vintage Vogue and the XL 2 step bird punch.

And last of all a card we made a few weeks ago using the level 2 stamp set Echoes of Kindness. I used Rich Razzleberry for the base and teh sentiment is from the Heart From the Heart set in the new catalogue
Phew, I am plum tuckered and off to bed...See ya!

Medallion stamp and other offerings

Hi all..if you are looking for the ESAD blog hop it's a few posts down...Thought I would show you some more cards made with th enew goodies from the Autumn winter catalogue
Love this stamp!! (Medallion 119175). This was stamped with  Melon Mambo on melon mambo cardstock..The centre was punched out with the 1 3/4 cicle punch and window sheet was glued behind the opening.. the centre was restamped on whisper white and placed behind the window. The sentiment is from the Heard from the Heart set (119167).  The matching ribbon  is gorgeous!

This is a coffee bag I found in my travels which I stamped with the grass from Inspired by Nature. The leaves were cut on the Bigshot with leaves #2 original die, which were stamped with Enfracais background stamps. Some tiny  tags were added using the Tiny Tags stamps (119187) and the medium jewelry tag (117190)

A z- fold card using En Francais background, Pocket silhouettes and the butterfly from Dream Du Jour (nothing from the new catty but pocket silhouettes is my new toy!)

And lastly an oldy but a goodie a chocolate bar slider. I used the XL 2 step bird punch (119191) and Little Leaves sizzlet ( 114511)
I hope this posts properly, somehow all the stuff in my side bar has gone to the bottom of my page and my blog header has moved on up and out of sight...I have no clue how it happened and bo clue how to fix it either!!
Until next time...

All a flutter...and a bit more

Hi everyone...if you are here for the ESAD bloghop, just scroll down to previous post..Thought I would share some more cards..Love the new single stamp "All a Flutter'' available in the new Autumn Winter mini Catty. Not the best angle to take a photo but you get the idea..the colours are Soft Suede (new) with Sage Shadow.. I have also used Vintage Vogue and the sentiment is from Echoes of Kindness.

This card uses Pendant Park (kicking myself I didn't use the Stamp a ma jig because as you can see, the park bench is crooked (unless you tilt your head to the side in which case it is fine!)
This one is inspired by Jackie Topa...Love the jewelry tag for the picket fence...The flowers and greenery are Vintage Vogue.
Lastly, I only just acquired the level 2 hostess set echoes of Kindness...such a pretty flower. It has been watercoloured and dazzled with diamonds lol. The background is stamped with En Francais...I just made a few more cards but will post those tomorrow
