Beautiful Season
This stamp set is beautiful, I LOVE it!! I have watercoloured the image using Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Soft Suede..the background is stamped with En Francais and the border is made with a yummy new punch which is available for order after September 1st! I have also used the color spritzer tool (which I don't use often enough!)

Pop Up Stage Card
One of my lovely stamp class ladies loaned me this cute polar bear die and straight away I thought of Kim Scores pop up stage technique here. The trees are from a retired set and the greeting is from Heard From The Heart. So much fun to make, everyone who sees it loves it...
For teh front of the card I used one of the trees from Lovely as a Tree to make the branches and the baubles are from Tree Trimmings

A Wish For Peace
This is such a pretty stamp set...a friend loaned it to me so I could make a few cards. For this one I embossed the background mat (crumbcake) with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and sponged it with Crumbcake ink. The image was stamped on the front panel with Crumcake and the sentiment was stamped with versamark ink and embossed in gold..I added some Tiny Tags to the organza ribbon

Season of Joy Pyramid Card
This is another pyramid card we made in our recent Xmas in July class. I have used Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive for the stamping
...and this is what it looks like on the inside....something a bit different for Christmas!

Christmas in July with Tree Trimmings
I have mixed both traditional and non traditional colours for this Xmas card... Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist. The tree branch is from a retired set, baubles are from Tree Trimmings, the greeting is from Snow swirled and the ribbon is from my stash...I have about 30 metres of this blue organza I am trying to use up!

Adult Version of Reindeer Poop
Hi everyone, not too many sleeps til the fat guy comes!! I have so much to do before Christmas, I need a remote with a pause button! Next week I am doing a kids class and one of items we will be making is reindeer poop...kids love that kind of thing....but I have also come up with a version for my adults class
This is the outside. I used the owl punch to make a reindeer..not my idea I might add, someone very clever thought of that little gem...I wasn't wearing my glasses when I stamped the sentiment..I thought it said have a very merry christmas!. Inside there is a little plastic tube filled with chocolate coated peanuts for poop. I have written my own version for my class ladies who all have a sense of humour...if you are offended by swear words please don't scroll down
Well I thought it was funny..I will be making several of these lol!
And now humour me for a proud mum moment..My youngest daughter just had her senior formal....so next year no more kids at school..yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ebony looked like a princess...and her boyfriend Zac looked handsome too.
Congrats to Ebony and Zac on your graduation too!!!!

Masculine Gift Card Holder
This idea has been done to death but it's still my favourite style of gift card holder...I have made this for a bloke no no bling or flowers eeekk!! I used Contempory Christmas and After Thoughts (level one hostess set) and stuck with a simple colour scheme of Very Vanilla and Bravo Burgundy....all I have to do now is save up for the gift card!!

Santa Card
I love this card...I have seen several versions of him in blog land so I am unsure of the original creator. I used the XL bird punch for his mo, large oval for his nose, 3/4 circle for his eyes, large oval for the holly leaves (taking bites out with the 1/2 inch circle punch)...and the rest is cut freehand. Kinda cute I think!

Owl Christmas Treat
I thought this would be good for our class bonus project this week..(I don't think I will ever get sick of Mr Owl..) It is quite clear I am being ripped off when I buy smarties...I wanted to use only red and green, but lo and behold there were hardly any of those colours, so I had to settle for non Christmas colours...what is this world coming to!! I also added a mini candy cane which comes wrapped and with a hangy doodad which is rather handy..The owls hat is handcut from Cherry Cobbler cardstock though it looks black in this unfortunate night time photo...I have made so much mess in my craft room I couldn't find my white gel pen to add highlights to the eyeballs so I will add them later..
Engagement card
I had to make an engagement card but I don't have any sentiments for that occassion so I just went with a lovely dovely theme (so not me lol) I have used up some retired designer paper and punched two love birds with the XL bird punch. The sentiment is from Vintage Vogue.
Since I had a scrap of Cherry Cobbler cardstock left over I made a simple tag to tie to a candy cane. The cute koala is from the Happy Christmas Mate set..

Happy Christmas Mate!
Since snowmen aren't likely on the Gold Coast this Christmas, I thought I should do and Aussie Christmas card. I don't own this set (Happy Christmas Mate) but a friend kindly loaned it to me so I could have a play..it's now officially on my wish list! I watercoloured the image with Soft Suede, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler and added a bit of Dazzling Diamonds to some of the pressies..I have also coloured surfing Santa but have't made a card for him as yet..stay tuned!

Have fun with the rest of the Hop!!!
For my first two projects I purchased tutorials here.
This is a hanging treat box I have made for my grand daughters to hang on the door for Santa. I have used the Tree Trimmings stamp set and Holly Jolly designer paper. I have also included a magic key for santa as they don't have a chimney. For the key I traced an image onto cardstock from a colouring book and cut it out and embossed it with gold embossing powder...we usually include a poem about the magic key, but as Miss Emily pointed out, we tell him that every year, he should know by now! This is such a cute box and could be used for Easter as well. I have added window sheet to the front opening so you can see the yummy chocolates inside.
My gifts are getting smaller each year so I figure if it's packaged in a pretty bag it looks a little more special. I used Riding Hood Red cardstock with designer paper from Love Notes.. The flowers are from the Season Of Joy stamp set. A pretty satin ribbon handle finishes it off nicely.
For my kids cards I will be making these because lollies speak volumes! I used a treat cup on the front and lots of Little Leaves sizzlets to make the wreath. The greeting is from Heard From the Heart which I used to hold a candy cane ( a few glue dots help to hold the candy cane)
I am not a fan of gummy bears my self but all the kids I know love them!
My last project isa cute little gift I have made for my daughter....she loves making cocktails so when I saw these cocktail recipe cards at the reject shop for $2 I was very happy..they are the size of a deck of playing cards and each one has a christmas cocktail recipe...how cute!I took the measurements of the deck and made a slide cover with a lift up flap on the top so I could write a greeting on the inside.
The images on the cards reminded me of the Cheers to You stamp set so that is what I used to stamp on the front. I watercoloured the image and added some dazzling diamonds. The designer paper is Love notes again (love polka dots!) and I made some holly leaves with the large oval punch using the 1/2 inch punch to take "bites" out of the leaves .. the Old Olive satin ribbon finished it off.

Candy Cane Mouse
I know this idea isn't new...when my kids were little we would make these out of felt to hang on the Christmas tree...For this version I used a template to draw an oval and when I cut it out i trimmed one end to make it a bit pointier. Her ears are made with the butterfly punch, the nose is a 1/4 inch circle with some stands of linen thread for whiskers.I used the 1/4 inch circle to punch the hole to thread the candy cane...it was a tight fit so I snipped it a little bit to make the hole a smidge bigger.
It's finished off ribbon and a Jewellery tag. I think I will make these for my grand daughter to give to her mates at Christmas time..

Season of Joy Card
It's Dasher again! This is another of my stamp a stack cards (they are all simple) The background is stamped with the snow flake from Snow Swirled. More Holly Jolly paper and dasher is stamped in Cherry Cobbler which is my FAVE red ink.
And this is my final stamp a stack card using the poinsettia stamp from Season of Joy...all easy, no fuss cards but they are my favourite kind. I hope my class ladies like them!

Tree Trimmings Card
Hi all, I have just spent most of the day cutting up for my upcoming stamp a stack classes...enough for 270 cards...sheesh!! Thankfully one of my lovely class ladies came to lend me a hand...thankyou Christine. This is one of the cards we will be making. I have used Holly Jolly designer paper and the stamp sets are Tree Trimmings (great set for just $24.95!) , sentiment from contempo Christmas and the swirl from Boroque Motifs...which is my most used stamp of all time. Will share the other two when my camera battery is charged.

Dasher Strikes Again
This is one of the easiest cards I have ever made but I love using black and white together...I have used the So Swirly wheel for the back ground and Dasher on the front.
This one is cased...I have seen several versions so I am unsure of the original creator..but whoooo ever that was...it's such a cute idea..(I am using up my retired papers)...

For Everything (and a few others!)
I was so pleased to see this set (For Everything) has made it into the new catalogue...it has so many fun stamps to play around with...One of my fave colour combos, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo
I love the new Contempory Christmas set, especially the bauble..can't wait to get the matching punch!
I saw this background technique somewhere in blogland but I have no idea where...it makes a nice backdrop for this beautiful butterfly, I have almost worn that stamp out!
..and lastly another card using the jumbo wheel Baby Tees...I have been creating some oher baby goodies for an upcoming Bloghop so stay tuned for those...ok off to bed I go...see you next time!

A Bit of Punch Art
I purchased a punch art tutorial from Kim Score at Paper Punch Addiction because I fell in love with this really cute hippo...awww I have made a few others but I haven't taken pictures yet...will be nice if we get some of the punches I need when the new catalogue comes out in September!
I have seen this feller all over the net so I don't know the original creator but he is very simple to make..I can see a few of these being made at Christmas time.
I saw a great tip on Valita's blog about using a segment from the spiral punch to make a top for a bauble...would be simpler if we had the ornament punch here in Australia ...fingers crossed for that one!
Getting organised for Christmas here, I wanted a folder big enough to hold ten dollar scratchy tickets...the ones they have at the newsagency are really naff!! . I used the So Swirly wheel with Versamark and embossed it in gold.
And in case you are wondering...no ! none of them are winners...so don't bother hitting me up for a quid!
And lastly a very quick and simple card using my newest set, Cheep Talk... It's a no brainer for when you are pressed for time..
That's all folks, don't forget to check back on July 24th for the ESAD blog hop....lot's of Christmas ideas on the way!

Holiday Lineup
I will be doing some Christmas in July classes next month so I thought I had better buy a set of Christmas stamps...I love this set "Holiday Lineup". So much fun to colour! I added a little bit of dazzling diamonds to the snowmen to bling them up a bit
These are Santas elves from the same set...love these kooky guys!! I have also done the reindeer but the crystal effects is still drying on that one
I have seen these circle easel cards all over blogland...I have done a very plain and simple version...quick and easy is my motto!
This week I score some cute little sizzix dies...This shoe is so cute...there is no way I could ever get my big clumpy feet into a dainty shoe like this!! I stamped the Boroque Motif swirl on the background in Pink Pirouette . This is one of my fabourite colour combos.
Of course yo need a handbag to match..I added Kraft cardstock to this one
And lastly my grand daughters Ella and Sophie are having a combined birthday party in October with a Sesame Street theme...Elmo is sooo cute!
...and Cookie Monster is his usual gutsy self! I saw these on Wendy Hawkinsons blog and staright away I know they would be perfect party invites for my two little cuties...That's all from me for now...see you round like a doughnut!

Punch Art Gift Card Holders
I have just finished making the last of my gift card holders for Christmas..yippee!! I came across some lovely punch art as I was browsing the internet and did actually write down the names of the people I cased...however an accident with a camera cord (as in it brushed against my leg, I thought it was a creepy crawly and freaked out and jumped up knocking a cup of coffee all over my notes)...so as soon as I find out more details I will give credit .. I only remember that this cute snowman was designed by a lady who lives on the sunshine coast in Queensland..She is so clever it's the nicest snowman I have seen...if anyone knows her name please let me know. This one is for my daughter Haley
footnote...I found the name..its Rochelle Hopkinson..I have no idea how to do a link, sorry (Computer stuff is NOT my forte)
I do remember who designed this cute little penguin as it was my upline Angie Brown and she would kill me if I forgot lol..this is for my daughter Jodie
I made this for my mother -in - law as the big open mouth looked familiar (only kidding Lizzie..yikes!) It was designed by Jackie Topa...such a clever lady...I didn't have all the punches I needed for this one so my handcut ovals look a bit naff!I has so much fun doing all that punch art I decided..buggar it!! I am going to have a go at making one myself...so I came up with this xmas fairy/ angel based on the design of the wrapping paper in which I wrapped my grand daughters Xmas presents..I tried to make a halo but it looked blah! so I just put a bling flower in her hair. All Stampin' Up! punches-scallop circle for the dress, word window for legs shoes and arms, butterfly punch for wings, 1 inch circle for head and hair and a smaller one for her bun...This one will go to my daughter Ebony. And now the fun is over because my house looks like a cyclone has passed through so me thinks I need to clean!
