Gift Box for the birthday girl

We have a birthday at Stamp Club this week so that means a little box of chocolates for the birthday girl...I love this cute little box!! It's a Lauren Meander template called Tucked Away.
To make the large flower I used the scallop cirlce and cut between each scallop. I used my bone folder to curve the petals and stuck on on top of the other and added a button....the smaller flowers were made the same way using the largest flower from the Boho Blossoms punch.. I think  it's really sweet ..I will be making more of these

For Everything (and a few others!)

I was so pleased to see this set (For Everything) has made it into the  new catalogue...it has so many fun stamps to play around with...One of my fave colour combos, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo
I love the new Contempory Christmas set, especially the bauble..can't wait to get the matching punch!
I saw this background technique somewhere in blogland but I have no idea where...it makes a nice backdrop for this beautiful butterfly, I have almost worn that stamp out!
..and lastly another card using the jumbo wheel Baby Tees...I have been creating some oher baby goodies for an upcoming Bloghop so stay tuned for those...ok off to bed I go...see you next time!

Pssstt...wanna sneak peek????

I can't wait til the new catalogue is released on September 1st...which also happens to be my birthday...what a gift!! Here are a few things I have made with some of the new goodies available soon
How cute are these little baby rompers!! I have cut them from one of the new jumbo wheels and water coloured them in  So Saffron and Certainly Celery

Another one from the same wheel...I don'r normally buy baby themed stamps but this one was too cute and because it's a wheel, it's super cheap!

One more...sooooo cute!

I know you will like this satmp not only because it's available individually...but wait...there's more.....there is a punch to match!!!!!!!!!!!

This flower lollypop was made using the new XL Fancy Flower punch...the base is a lid off something I found in the bathroom lol

Using the same punch for a scrunched flower which I have used to embellish this little slide cover thingamy bob which contains a Whittakers Peanut Slab....yummo!!!

A side view just because I think it looks pretty..ha ha

Same punch (versatile I am thinking!!) The little wondow box frame was about to go in the bin because it had REALLY ugly picture in it so I pulled it to bits and recycled it...So what do you think of these new goodies??...I think I am going to be really broke when the catalogue is released!
See ya next time

Friends 24-7

I love this set but have to admit I struggle to come up with ideas when using it.This is based on a card I saw in a paper crafting magazine but I am unsure of the creators name..  I used Baja Breeze, Whisper White and Basic Black.

I should have taken this picture from a better angle, when you look straight on you can't see the bird under the one which is dimensioned. I used the sanded background stamp and the flowers were stamped on scrap and cut out..you can't tell from the photo but the flowers are covered in Dazzling Diamonds

This is using the flower stamp from the set, water coloured in Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive

This last one is a ring in using the Balloon stamp from Crazy for Cupcakes...which would have to be one of my most used stamps!...a quick one for when you are in a rush, I saw this in blogland somewhere, I think it may have been by Andrea Walford
Off to my stamping room, I have a class tonight and I need to clean up my "creative mess" before everyone arrives. Catch ya next time

Helping Hudson- A Wheely Great Cause

It’s true when they say that a little goes a long way, and I’m here to tell you about how a simple purchase of some fun -filled paper craft tutorials can give freedom to a little boy!

Hudson is 2 ½ but unlike most children his age, he has had a tough little life! Doctors realised he had an incomplete brain before he was born and as a newborn he was discovered to be legally blind. Hudson has recently been diagnosed with both Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy! His mobility has been hindered severely by his disabilities, however his family and friends wish nothing more than to give him the chance to get moving on his own. Hudson needs a special Wheelchair/Walker, called a Kid Walker. This device will help get him mobile, allow him to play with his brother and sister, interact with other children his own age and give him independence in his day to day life!

This is where the stamping world really comes into play! When a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators are asked for help they come to the rescue, ink and paper in hand, to work miracles. This is what has happened around Hudson over the last few months. First with his mum’s direct team, and then spreading out across Australia and New Zealand and over in to the US, the UK and Canada! His story has touched so many people so its time to share it with you all!

There is a HUGE online stamping event taking place, called Helping Hudson -A Wheely Great Cause! The organisers have been working really hard, securing support, tutorials and donations to get this event underway. There are going to be three weeks of stamping fun for you to join in – come back as often as you can, there will always be lots more to see, do and learn. It kicks off on the 1st August and will run right through until the 22nd. You’ll find it at http://helpinghudson.blogspot.com/

When you come on over to the blog you’ll find out all about Hudson, his family and his cause! But, more importantly, you can DO SOMETHING TO HELP HUDSON, at the same time as helping yourself learn how to make some great new paper craft projects. How? By purchasing bundles of tutorials kindly donated by Stampin’ Up! demonstrators the world over. Each bundle has 10 fun-filled tutorials for just AU$10! And there are six themes to choose from: Bags & Boxes, Christmas, Kids’ Birthdays, Projects for Men & Boys, Punch Art & Scrapbooking. There’s even a FREE bonus bundle if you buy four or more. WOW how exciting! All proceeds go directly to help Hudson.

(paragraph just for Aussie Demos....... (The Helping Hudson Crew will also be posting some awesome challenges throughout the three weeks. For a small donation you can join in and be in the running for some FANTASTIC Stampin’Up! Prize packs, kindly donated by Stampin’ Up! Australia (Aussie participants only) Also keep your eyes peeled for challenges over at Just Add Ink and Stamp A Memory too)

And we would love you to help spread the word too. Check out the ‘Spreading The Word’ page at the site for all you need to know to get the word out to as many people as you can.

C’MON LETS GET HUDSON MOVING!!!!!
