Pony Party and Tote-ally Tess

Morning all, hope you are all ready for the ESAD Blog Hop! Better grab a cuppa as we will be hopping around for a while. I guess you are wondering what ESAD is? It stands for Extra Special Australian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Aussie and NZ demonstrators for Stampin' Up!
We love what we do and not only do we like to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful Blog visitors, but we share what we love with fellow demos. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when needed.

I loved every single thing in the Autumn-winter mini catalogue (and bought most of them) but two items I purchased for my own personal pleasure were Pony Party and Tote-ally Tess...

I have three grand daughters and they are mad about My Little Pony, so it was my DUTY  to buy this set. I used Melon Mambo card stock with the matching polka dot ribbon. The pony is water coloured, with Dazzling Diamonds added to the tail and mane... I love all the little extras that come with this set...this pony has had wings added

Same pony but no wings this time!! For the background I stamped the tiny flower from Season of Joy and the flower posey is made with the single flower from Eastern Blooms. Pony Party (119179) is going to be a big hit around here for birthday invitations! (I am not selfish two of the grandies have already played with this set and made themselves some colouring pages)

The other set I bought for my own pleasure was Tote-ally Tess....I wanted it to make personalised stationery....But there is so much more to Tess....sure she loves to stamp and scrapbook but she is a party girl at heart.

Here she is on her way to a birthday party! For this one I paper pieced Tess using various designer papers. The added accessories are the balloon from Crazy For Cupcakes and the tiny cake in her hand is from the Short and Sweet set. The sentiment is from Heard From the Heart (119167) I stamped it in Whisper White craft ink but will remember to emboss it next time so it stands out. (I love all the sentiments in this set and it will be well used for sure).

Ooh La La Undies and Bra!

I have seen this idea all over the net and just had to make one...sooo cute!

The back of the card is a little bit cheeky! ha ha. I used  Sweet Always designer paper and the cardstock is blush blossom. This is exactly what I look like in my jox.....ok ...you are right it looks nothing like me....but I figured granny undies and cellulite wouldn't look tso great lol.

A simple card I will be doing in  a free workshop on Saturday..I think I have done this in every colour combo now!

I would like the thank the lovely Sandi McGyver for so willingly sharing this super cute bunny template...I will be making a few of these for the Grandies

And lastly this super easy little Easter Treat...I saw these very cute marshmallow bunnies at the shops and had to buy a pack...they are individually wrapped in a little cello packet so I just had to make a little pouch with a window...

I would also like to show you the double slider card I made but it has disappeared into thin air...which is a pain because we are making them in  Stamp Club tomorrow night...looks like I will have to knock one up quick smart!

Happy Moments and odd and ends

I love the bird cage in the Happy Moments Sale a Bration set!!I have used whisper white on a Kraft card base and stamped Baroque Motifs with Sahara Sand then again with versamark embossed in gold..The cage hangs in the circle window and spins .

I know flower pot cards have been done to death but I had never made one before so I had to have a go!

This is the card when removed from the pot...there I have got that one out of my system now!

And lastly I thought this card would be nice and easy to teach in workshops..I love the leaf stamp that comes in teh Good Neighbours sale a bration set...or is it meant to be a tree???

Scrapbooking with Bella Rose

This is a layout which appears in the latest issue of Scrapbooking Memories Volume 12 No 2...I was asked to do a layout for their new recipe challenge...the recipe was 1 cardstock, 4 patterned papers (or 2 double sided) 6 brads. 1 chipboard, letters, ribbon and staples..all Stampin Up! except for the lettering...The papers are Bella Rose and the beautiful little girl is my eldest grand daughter Emily...what a little sweetie pie!

My first male stamper

Tonight I had my first male attendee...Jan brought along her son Jamie and his girlfriend Letitia..have to admit I was a bit sceptical at first...but Jamie did a fantastic job..and I promised I would post pics on my blog so Nanna Nora (in the UK) could see...so Nora....here is what you lovely family got up to tonight

Card Tote

I wasn't happy with my previous post for my card tote so I am starting again. This is based on a tutorial by Julie Buhler..I had to change all the dimensions so the envelopes would fit. I have used EnFrancais for the background and Petal Pizzazz for the flower

                This is a side view showing the pockets inside which hold four cards and envelopes

I stuck to simple designs for the cards....This would make a great little present and I had so much fun doing it. My first version which was too short for the envelopes now had some sweet smelling scented thingos inside it and will give it away as a lucky door prize.

I am putting myself to bed now, big day at work tomorrow

Just Jawin' and some birthday fun!

We had a birthday girl celebrating in class this week!!! (Happy Birthday Bec, hope you have a great weekend away next week). We started a birthday tradition with the birthday crown...I could be mean and use some of the many unflattering shots I took but I used the nice ones instead lol...I made Bec a birthday gift bag box thingo with the Just Jawin set because she loves skulls.

These are the treats inside which included a voucher for a free class (but she isn't allowed to eat the lollies when she comes lol!)

And this is the YUMMO  cheesecake Wendie brought along...quite a few calories in that little baby!

Thankyou to all the wonderful ladies who come along to classes , you make my week and the laughter is good for the soul!!

It's a stinking hot Sunday afternoon and I have just been called into work....OMG I will melt washing hundreds and hundreds of dishes..aaaaarrrrggghhh!
